Potty training puppy

Hello, my maltipoo is 13 weeks. He signals when he has to potty by either circling in one spot (very briefly for pee) or biting our hands and face if we happen to be holding him. How do we train him to alert us? How do we convert him from doing those things to letting us know by barking by the door to the outside? Thank you
