More of a funny discussion than asking for help. Has anybody else had their puppy teach their older dog bad habits? My older girl June (8yo mix) is almost the perfect dog, she is very low energy so just needs a short sniffy walk to be happy. She can be reactive but has gotten so much better and is not a trouble maker in the house at all. We just got our puppy Fitz (10wo standard poodle) last Friday and now June has decided she enjoys destroying sticks with him (we have a big tree that drops a bunch in our yard) and has attempted to dig when she saw Fitz scratching around. I don’t mind the stick chewing except I really don’t want her to get a blockage or hurt her mouth/intestines. Who knew the puppy would be the bad influence!
