Hi! I have a male ~7 months old chow chow and so far he's been everything someone with dogs warns you about regarding how the puppy/teenager phases happen.
However, now that we are approaching the 8 months old I have noticed the behavioral changes (stubborness, regression, etc.) which I was expecting. Everything checks out, except for the fact that he has started panting almost all day, and I was wondering if anyone had also experienced this with their dogs. I haven't noticed any signs of health issues; he eats, poops, plays, etc. as always, except with maybe some energy linked to the teenager phase. (Also as a note, he's an open-face chow chow! I know panting/breathing issues can also be related to shorter snoots or brachycephalic breeds)
Thank you!!!
