i have an 13 week old puppy and am struggling with bonding with him. He is not a great listener and is honestly hard to be around. I don’t know how to properly discipline him (i usually will say NO and try and remove him from the situation. I have lightly popped his butt if he’s really hurt me) and i think that’s one of the reasons.
He’s doing good with potty training, and i believe he’ll have it nailed down within the next few weeks. The biting and just being bad (doing everything in his power to bite the shit out of me, eating things that he goes out of his way to get, etc) is just taking a toll. We have basically no relationship other than me telling him to let go of me. Any advice? I want to be a good pet parent but i feel like im letting him down.
