Our 14 month old lab was neutered yesterday. He hates the cone and donut so he’s in a body suit. Seems to be keeping him away from the wound but I’m still anxious he’ll somehow rip the suit or something in his crate while I’m asleep or not home. Ugh. I hope the next 10-14 days fly by. Also it’s hard to keep him from “being playful” during the day unless he’s crated. How long did it take your dog to heal up and what did you do to keep them from possibly opening that incision? I caught him licking it today with the vest off and I think I yelled so loud freaked him out 😆💩
