I have a 6 year old neutered boy and he is just a dream. However, sometimes he will hump the sofa!
It always seems to be triggered by me leaving the living room (to go to the toilet etc). Tonight I had an ubereats arrive, and once I'd collected the food from the front door I found him humping the sofa.
It doesn't really bother me, he stops immediately when I tell him to and if left to his devices he does it no more than 30 seconds. More than anything I'd like to better understand this behavior. Does anyone know why he is doing this?
