My Dog’s Reaction to Loud Construction—and How We’re Coping

I’ve been dealing with a tough situation with my dog, snow. Recently, there’s been constant construction near our apartment, and he’s been super stressed—pacing, whining, and hiding under furniture whenever the noise starts.

At first, I felt helpless watching her so anxious. But I started noticing small ways to help: letting him choose a quiet spot, staying calm myself, and sitting with him while the noise passes. Sometimes just being near him and giving gentle reassurance makes a huge difference.

It’s a slow process, but he’s learning that the noise, while scary, isn’t a threat. I guess I’m learning patience too!
