So my dog (9 year old Cockapoo) is harmless – so loving and just the sweetest boy – but recently I’ve noticed with meat, he gets extremely aggressive and starts suddenly barking in the middle of eating his meat? He doesn’t do this for any other type of food – just lamb and steak. I remember when he was younger, he’d been given a bone and started acting very aggressive but it never happened after that. As dogs get older does their resource guarding get worse?
