My dog keeps jumping off the bed in the middle of the night

Just last night, I felt his body twitching (specifically his leg) and it would make him jump up real fast. He would get off the bed, walk around, and come back. I tried giving him some food which he ate, took him outside and he used the restroom but other times he didn’t care for going outside. Normally when he gets off the bed it’s because of tummy issues but this time it was different. It seemed like the twitching was what’s bothering him. Would anyone know why he may be doing this?
