i’ve tried taking mini steps with treats as rewards but it’s been like this for years and i see zero progress!! his nails are insanely long i dont know what else to do! we’ve tried sanding band nail filer thingies as well but it doesnt help either. he isnt afraid of getting his paws touched or anything like that, he only reacts weirdly when he knows we are about to try to clip his nails. i dont know if i should force him or something by covering his face and holding him down because i’m afraid it’d be counterproductive- of making it more traumatic for him which would lead to even more difficulty clipping his nails in the future!
