We got a new puppy a couple months ago (girl) and she’s basically in love with our older dog (male). She follows him 24/7, stays by his side outside, and mimics everything he does. However, when I’m walking her on the leash, she ONLY cares about what is doing or where he is at.
She also pooped in his bed in the living room. She barks at him all the time (literally doesn’t stop). mimics everything he does EXCEPT for the good stuff—he was a dream to train and highly food motivated. This one could care less about anything and basically walks around like she owns the house no matter the training methods I’ve done. Is this because she thinks our older dog is “the boss” or are females just like this?
