Has anybody else lost friends because they got a puppy? I got a Catahoula puppy a few months ago he will be 7 months old this month. I feel like all my time and energy has gone into this puppy because his has extreme anxiety and other medical issues going on and I’m the main one raising him, taking him to training etc. Yesterday I ended a friendship because my friend just couldn’t get through her head that I can’t be there enough for her right now and my main focus is the puppy. We’ve been having issues for a year but this was the last straw for me. She made me feel bad about my last dog too who I had to put down due to cancer. Just looking for some insight I guess.
