14 week old Bernedoodle who has been with my family for 11 days. He was not at all potty trained before we took him home. I truly believe that we are doing everything right, but my patience is being tested. He pees in the house nonstop, despite the fact that we bring him outside every 30 – 45 min. He doesn't have any symptoms of a UTI, BTW. He is starting to tell us when he needs to go outside, which is awesome. But just when I feel like he might be getting it, he goes inside again without thinking twice about it. I swear, if I don't have my eyes on him literally 100% of the time and take him out every 30 min, he'll find a way to pee inside. In my head I know he is just a baby and that he isn't trying to misbehave. I just feel so frustrated that he isn't getting it, or so it feels. I can work with the chewing of shoes and FOMO yelps when I put him down for a nap. This peeing inside, though, is killing me. Why does he feel like he has to pee so much? He can go 8 hours with ease during the night, but as soon as he's awake, he's a pee machine!
I've raised a puppy twice before and I know it gets better. I don't know why this one feels so different to me. I just don't see it clicking in his head yet and that makes me feel so frustrated. I don't even know why I'm typing this…just feeling so helpless.
