Is my dog bored?

I adopted a rescued dog in summer. He is a small/medium dog. When he came the first weeks he slept a lot. I thought it was him getting used to his new life. But now it’s been 6 months and he really sleeps a lot.

We live in an apartment, so I try to compensate with his walks being 1 hour before me going to work and 1 hour in the afternoon. On summer we used to go on walks on the weekends for 3 hours and so. But now that winter is here and is super cold, we cut it short.

He does play a little in the evening I throw things and he chases them. But mainly sleeping. I’m worry that he’s bored or that he isn’t happy. He plays with his toys sometimes but once we are back home he goes to bed and can sleep hours just moving positions.

He is the first pet that I’m taking care all by myself and my second dog in my whole life. I love him so much I just want to make sure he’s happy.
