I have a Rottweiler he’s very smart and very stubborn but I love him and he loved a good scratch on his bum.
My only issue is that he still bites basically hands, arms, toes, sleeves even the leg of jeans. He does listen sometimes when we tell him to leave it he’ll stop biting your hand but other times you can be stroking him and he’ll start biting, sometimes he does it for attention because he want you to play others he completely ignores the toy and keeps going for your hands then the only option is to put him in a different room by himself to calm down.
I don’t know if it’s excitement, attention or just bad behaviour but he’s a big boy so I’m worried about when he’s older and doesn’t grow out it.
Now he’s out of the teething stage I thought it would stop but now with his adult teeth sometimes he does bite hard or he’ll get the fat on your thighs which really hurts but he’s not aggressive at all he doesn’t go for people or other dogs he doesn’t growl or bark at us. For some reason he just comes up and bites your hands.
I’d just love to know if this is something I can stop or that he’ll grow out of.
