We have a 5mth old pit puppy and when we are out walking her she acts so interested in ppl but as soon as they try to pet her she hides behind my fiance Mindi or myself. I had plenty of dogs/pits in my life but I never dealt with this and honestly it’s embarrassing when we are out because ppl prob think we beat her cus of how she acts when they try to pet her. The only way she is okay with other ppl besides us is when they are at our house and it takes her a bit of time to go up to them. I was just wondering if anyone else’s dog or puppy is like this?
