I can’t seem to get my puppy to bond with me and she’s started being disobedient and badly behaved: biting, stealing and chewing things. She’s such a smart girl and does so well with training and tricks, but only when she wants to. It’s getting too much for me, the constant checking on, correcting, redirecting. Being bitten (nothing major) is so mentally difficult because I honestly feel it’s out of hate, rather than just mouthing/being a puppy. The majority of the time we spend together ends up being disciplining and negative. It doesn’t seem fair to me or to pup.
Cockapoo – 6 months – female.
