I’m looking for a low maintenance non shedding dog

Good morning all,

I am basically liking for a dog that comes close to caring as a cat. Please do not tell me to get a cat, because I really don’t like them. no offense to cat lovers. I am looking for one that doesn’t shed, where one walk a day will do, and one where I only had to take out a few of times a day. However, I can also tolerate one a little more than that as long as they are the type of dogs that aren’t so needy that I have to go with them every time, since we have a fenced yard. Definitely none that have to be taken out in the middle of the night past the puppy stage. To touch back on the needy part, in a few months, I’m going back to work part time, so I can’t have one that isn’t okay with being alone for a little bit. It also has to be a small to midsize one.
