I’m always constantly anxious about my puppy.

Background: university student, about to graduate. Luckily have had 6+ internships and will have a full time job so money is not really the main concern here (got pet insurance too). My university is pretty close so I live at home, don’t go to lectures (just the exams) so home most of the time other than when I’m interning, it’s usually hybrid (2 days in office). Live with parents and two siblings (one is 10) another is helping with the puppy.

Is it normal to be constantly anxious about your puppy swallowing/eating stuff. He’s like 9 weeks so he’s curious and sniffs everything, chews rocks etc.

He’s doing fine in terms of sleep, eating etc. Surprisingly able to sleep for 6/7 hours then goes to the bathroom in the morning.

Does it get better, do they get to an age where there smarter about what they put in their mouth and eat?

Thanks.

Also, I’m open to any advice. I have crate and playpen setup. He likes the crate so not a problem there. Just when I take him out for play.
