Hi guys, I have a 10 month old Aussie. I want her to be an everywhere dog with me so I’ve been taking actionable steps by making sure to socialize her. There was a lull in our consistency with taking her to new places and I recently started making it a priority again. We’ve gone to Lowe’s quite a bit and she’s pretty good there, but yesterday I tried to take her to an outdoor restaurant and she has her place and I have her a bone and a pupsicle to just associate a good vibe with the situation, but then when that was over it was harder to control. I reward for her staying on her place (which is a little mat) but then she just got bored of doing that and just completely started barking at people! I was so embarrassed. I figured I had spent too much time there and should probably start with shorter sessions. What do you guys think? Any reassurance would be much appreciated!
