I think my relatives dogs like peppermint?

I’m currently at my relatives which I don’t visit much often and this is the first time i’ve used the bath and bodyworks twisted peppermint lotion, perfume & body wash here while visiting. Every time I come downstairs after putting on the lotion & perfume the 2 little dogs they have sniff and jump all over me more than they usually do.

Also they will sniff my wrist and hands that have the scent on and lick them, mainly only one of them licks for a while if I let him (he’s a licker)

Normally I pet him when he’s on the back of the couch and he will lick my hands and wrist that I freshly put the scent on, never does it without the scent😂. I’m thinking like doesn’t that taste nasty??

SO I googled and It said dogs don’t like peppermint… so why do these 2 seem to love it?
