Hi everyone. My husband and I got an absolutely adorable little caviler king charles spanial and he's mostly very easy to work with. However he had learned that if he goes potty in his kennel and/ or play pen he gets taken outside. So now when he's put in either place he will immediately go potty to get to go outside. It doesn't matter if I'm only going to the restroom or needing to cook food. He does this.
I have no idea how to get him to stop as his only high value reward is play and he's great at playing by himself when he's outside. Does any one have any tips?
