So my partner and I have a one year old male cavapoo. From the very beginning he was very active and very demanding. He does not enjoy playing by himself. We live in an apartment and take him out in the morning before work for a 20 minute potty and sniff walk. Then he sleeps while we're gone. We take him out to play fetch in the afternoon for at least 40 minutes and he has at least a 30 minute evening walk. With that being said one time per week we train agility and while we're in the park to play fetch we always ask for commands. The problem is he does not seem satisfied. He doesn't sleep in the afternoon, whines for attention and chases the cat to play with her. He doesn't enjoy eating and enrichment toys and chews rarely interest him. He really only wants to play. I don't know if we're not doing enough or is he just very needy. We have discussed getting another puppy for him to play with at home. Please give me some advice.
