My Shepsky is 10 months soon 11.. I have tried almost everything to get him to stop biting us but nothing seems to work. I need help, I fear I'm failing and he IS getting aggressive. He just got neutered almost two weeks ago. I feel like a big issue is that he doesn't have a complete schedule and isn't getting a lot of his energy out. Understimulated. 3/4 people in our house work nightshift and the other one is dayshift. Every time he starts biting we try to get him off of us with toys, yelping, walking away, even putting him back in his crate, holding his mouth, pinching his ear/scruff, prong collar (I absolutely dont want to use a shock collar), just a whole bunch of things I read to try even from this sub or from training videos. Im struggling a lot and starting to get nasty with him and I hate that I'm getting like this. He's proven to me here and there he could be a GREAT dog, I just wish he was like that all the time.. I can't really afford a professional trainer, especially if he's getting aggressive but if I have to get a loan I will just couldnt be right away. I just need help, I don't want to give up on my boy. I need tips, not just the "put a toy in his mouth instead". We don't let him play bite us either. There's so much I could write. I know both breeds are very high energy and also nippy especially GS's but I wasn't expecting to feel like a police k9 training dummy.
