hi, everyone!
our puppy, hondo, is a huge fan of his crate. his crate was put in our home office, which was convenient for his designated nap times as it was a quiet and comfortable place for him to relax.
this has backfired, because now the dog essentially has his own room and he refuses to sleep or relax unless he’s in his cage. no matter how tired he is, he won’t just lay down and relax in his dog bed or on the couch!
we have a few ideas, such as leaving the door open as he sleeps in his cage to get him used to sleeping through everyday sounds, and perhaps after the holidays moving his cage out into the main room. but some tips or advice would be really appreciated!
