We’ve ruled out any medical issues. The vet said it’s just a behavioral issue. She’s been doing this for years but since we moved to a bigger apartment, it’s gotten more frequent. She’s peeing on the floor or her bed at least once a day. Maybe she likes the attention? Even though it’s negative? We’ve stopped allowing her on our furniture. We don’t know how to train this out of her. She’s 5 years old and we take her outside to pee every 1-2 hours like a puppy to avoid the indoor peeing but she still pees inside. We even tried doggie diapers. We play with her. Take her on walks. To the dog park. To day care. She has so many toys. We now have a yard and she can play in the yard. She has more space we lived in a studio previously in a complex with no yard. Things should be better. We can’t be doing fun things 24/7. As soon as we aren’t doing something fun she pees out of spite. Please help. Any ideas?
