How to explain training to my family

I’m crate training my 10 week old puppy, and he sleeps just fine in the crate doing about 30 minutes awake and 1.5 – 2 hours asleep each time, but everyone has been making fun of me for it saying “oh will he grow more eyes if he doesn’t get EXACTLY that amount of sleep?” And saying he needs to be disciplined and told no, making it sound like I should scold my puppy, I’ve been working hard on training and making my pup happy but my family has been making fun of me for it and it’s been taking a toll on me

Any advice is really appreciated because it’s really upsetting me
