How do you handle frequent diarrhoea in garden?

Is dog poop bad for grass the same way dog pee is? My dog is about 8 months old and the only time shes had hard poops was with a food she stopped eating, we've had to change her diet 4 times ,and there just isnt any break from runny poops ,I pick up what I can and hose the rest down with water. Other wise if left there she eventually brings It into the house on her paws.

But am I ruining the grass doing this? What have other people done when you can't actually pick it up and its so frequent.
