Hey everyone,
Around July this year my human son, 7yo, recieved a life threatening diagnosis. Our dog, a 6yo female Kelpie x Bull Arab, has been increasingly extremely worried about him. She's not trained as an assistance dog – just generally well behaved with a few tricks, but she appears to be "alerting" to him by pacing, licking his hands, not leaving his side, and generally just being quite concerned about him.
We know he's unwell, he's recieving necessary treatments, but I don't know how to reassure her of that & that we're not just ignoring her concerns.
If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated! Please & thank you ๐
