Hello everyone, i have a 13 year old small mix who will absolutely NOT use puppy pads. Cloth or disposable. Ive tried high reward training.
He cant be completely confined because he will start howling (LOUD) and crying and ripping up flooring, and self injuring. its only when i try to coop him up in any way and its been this way for 10 years.
I have not been able to get him to use a pad one single time the entire 10 years ive had him. I have tried.
Crate training was like i was actually torturing him.
Diapers wont work because he is very oblong and he slides them off after making his back end go completely limp like he’s paralyzed.
He is now dealing with consistent accidents of 1-2 times a day in the same spot, sometimes other spots. I have tried covering the spot but he pees around, or physically moves the barrier.
I have carpets, i live in a rental, wtf am i supposed to do.
