My partner and I have a 4 month old mini dachshund puppy, and we've had her for 2 months now. We've made considerable progress with crate training where we can either leave the apartment or go into another room and she'll happily sleep in her crate for up to 2 hrs. However, if we're home and we make even the slightest noise, she's up and won't go back to sleep. She only whines once every 5-10 mins or so, and then after 40 mins awake, she's had enough and wants out. I work from home full-time, so I'd like to start having meetings in our office room alone while she sleeps in the living room (where her crate is), but even a camera shutter wakes her up (I also do product photography work on the side). I also want her to stay asleep during this time because she's still so little! Has anyone else had this issue?
Edit: we have a white noise machine that gets turned on every time she goes into her crate during the day.
