Help!

I wasn’t sure which flare to use. Both my dogs are on Bravecto for flea/tick prevention. They have been on it for years and I give them the dose every 12wks as opposed to 3 months because we hike. I live in apartment and I’ve lived here for 4 years. No issue with fleas ever. UNTIL NOW.

The Bravecto works but I am still finding, at most, 1-2 fleas on one of my dogs every other day or so. They are never 100% alive; usually dead or dying because of the Bravecto. My cat is also on the topical 12wk Bravecto. The dogs even wore Seresto collars for a bit alongside their Bravecto but they didn’t seem to work at all. I do believe I know where the fleas are coming from. There is someone who lives in my building who has too many cats and, from the smell, they do not take care of them.

I am vacuuming every other day. I wash all bedding and blankets every two weeks. My concern is: I’m moving out of this apartment in a few weeks and I am so worried about taking fleas with me and just endlessly living my life never being infested (I do not see them other than when I comb the animals) but always finding a few fleas a week.

How can I get rid of them for good?! Pet safe solutions only. I have nowhere for them to go to use anything toxic to get rid of the fleas.
