This happened to me with my dog and it honestly scared me. She is not off-leash trained.
I was walking her like normal, and somehow the clip on the leash unclipped on its own. I didn’t even realize it right away. Thankfully nothing happened, but it really made me rethink how secure those clips actually are.
I always assumed they were pretty reliable, but now I’m not so sure.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known issue with certain types of clips?
