So ever since middle school I’ve wanted a German shepherd. I’m in college now and I’m planing on getting a German shepherd puppy right when I get a house/apartment, whatever. I’ve only owned a dog once and that was when I was a baby to 8 years old- so “owned” is a bit of a stretch.
Anyway, I want to make sure I’m completely prepared to take care of this doggo. I know they need tons of attention, TRAINING especially, lots of room to run around in and exercise, grooming, and a healthy diet. Do you have any tips or tricks for getting a GSD? Should I be looking to work at like a dog training program or something to learn more about how to train the dog?
What should I do to prepare to get a German shepherd? I want to give it my absolute best care.
