Goofy question: does your dog “thank you”?

I’ve had our adopted pup for about six months. Whenever he receives something, a toy or treat, he pretty much receives it and gets out of dodge. With my previous dog, after receiving something, he would make some sort of acknowledgment or gesture before getting out of dodge. 😂
