Hello everyone. I just noticed something with one of my dog’s toys today that I wanted to bring to peoples attention. My dog passed way in 2024 and today I noticed the squeaky pig toy she used to play with is disintegrating and goo was coming off of it. It’s been sitting nicely with all of her stuffed animals on her bed and the goo is getting all over everything. It did not look like this when she passed away. She loved this pig and i’m sure many dogs do. My girl played hard, but the toy had no discoloration or cracks, otherwise I would have thrown it away. The goo from this toy is sticking to my girl’s stuffed animals and I have to take pliers to get it off. I just don’t want anyone’s dog ingesting this stuff. I think it might be latex, but I thought latex was durable? I want to show people a picture of this but it won’t allow me to post my photos. Here is a link to a toy that looks like the one I have, but I don’t know if it’s the same exact pig/manufacturer.
