First time on leash is chaotic right?

My puppy is 16-17 weeks old and I started leash training.. well I’ve been trying for a few weeks now I’m taking reallll baby steps getting her more comfortable with me handling her collar and introducing her to the leash

You’re probably asking why it took a few week.. well when we first put the leash on I knew she was gonna bite it ofc but not even high value treats could deter her from it.

Today we hit a milestone I clipped on her leash twice and yes she did chew but it was much easier to redirect and when I told her to drop it she did.. we also got a few steps in so the progress is slow but it’s happening

Would love hearing other parents struggling with leash training everytime I see a video or story online it’s like day 1 their puppy is already great with wearing a leash and harness
