This morning I walked my dog on the field we normally walk on and he had got hold of the end of a rocket firework and made a run for it. He started screaming and it turns out the stick has pierced his throat and he has had to have stitches. He is currently just coming around from the surgery. I know there are lots laying around in my area so just a caution to other pet owners to be careful of dogs with sticks/firework ends. One of the most horrific mornings!
