Fetch vs Trupanion? what’s better for a 5-month-old Maltese teacup puppy?

I have a 5-month-old Maltese teacup puppy and I’m trying to pick between Fetch and Trupanion for pet insurance. I’ve seen mixed opinions online, so I wanted to ask people who actually use them.

I’m just not sure which one ends up being better long-term like which is more reliable with claims, how much the price increases over time, and if there are any hidden downsides you’ve noticed.

If you’ve used either one, what do you like about your plan and why do you think it’s better than the other company?
