I dont know if this is necessarily a behavior problem, but I wasn’t sure what else to tag it. Title basically says it, anytime my kids take a bath my golden retriever is obsessively licking the splashes of water on the floor and side of the tub. I thought it was silly at first, but it’s getting quite annoying. He pushes me out of the way to lick the water. When there is none, he pants like crazy and makes the already warm bathroom even warmer. If I shut him out he whines at the door. He always has a bowl of fresh waster, I change it 2x a day. He does drink a lot, but our house is pretty warm. The tub thing is just driving me nuts. What’s the deal? Is this a behavior thing or is it just my dog being a silly dog?
