We have a 15 month old coonhound and a dog walker comes by once a day when we are at work for a walk and to feed him. It’s a great company and they have been wonderful – the same person does not come every day however and I want to do something in terms of a Christmas gift but we cannot afford to get something for all of them (they are about 5 who alternate – one of them comes more than the others). Is it weird to leave out an assortment of sweets and one of our cards (that has our dog on it)? I’ve looked at past posts and one person suggested a massage and there ain’t no way we can afford that. I’m not trying to be cheap, I want to be as thoughtful as I can. What about a card for each of them and leave it out on the counter? There’s no set schedule so we don’t know who is coming each day. This has actually worked out great for my dog because he’s gotten used to other people (their intent).
