I have a golden retriever and I feel terrible that he has one or two rubber Kong ball shaped toys, and like 6 extremely hard nylon type bone toys.
I feel bad because I feel like he doesn't have a lot of different sensations to feel. I've tried tug of war type toys made out of strong fabric/thread, but what he will do is pull and pull and pull at the loose threads at the end of the knots, and destroy it.
Every animal type of plushie with a squeaker I seem to buy is destroyed after about 10 minutes because once he's done going haywire with it squeaking it, he'll start tearing it apart and ripping it.
Has anyone found a plushie or some sort that actually lasts and is strong?
