So I have what one would consider a "perfect" dog. She was adopted 4 months ago and she was fineish around 1 month ago. She doesn't bark, chew things. She is scared of people, but as long as you don't bother her she is fine and just lays in restaurants. She also has no separation anxiety which is a blessing. She is also nice to other dogs.
However, if we go on a quick walk, when she is done doing her business, she starts shaking and wants to go home. If I want her to get out, I need to try really hard. She doesn't take snacks in this state.
I tried just sitting in a park next to our home. She shakes and looks restless trying to go home and whining.
I tried to walk her outside of the area (literally crossing a gate). She shakes and tries to sprint home.
I am wondering if we need to talk to a behaviorist or if this is a case for meds. We have a trainer and she said she is not the worst case she has seen, but I feel so bad for her that she can't enjoy a walk.
