Dog gets hyper and chases tail whenever I’m on a phone call

Idk why but my dog gets really excited/anxious whenever I’m on a phone call and starts chasing his tail. It doesn’t matter if I’m near him either, if he just hears me start talking on the phone, whether he’s on a different room or different floor, he’ll get hyper, start chasing his tail, mess with his dog bed and maybe even bark. Anyone else understand why? He’s a German Shepherd btw, if that might explain things
