My golden retriever puppy is a little over 3 months old. He tripped the kibble jar by mistake and most of it fell on the floor. We decided to throw away the kibble since he's recovering from tick fever, and we don't want to take any risks. I live in a remote area so it'll take a couple of days for his food to get delivered.
I do have sample packets of puppy kibble from the same brand we use for him. Is it safe to give him some of it? What other food alternatives can I give him?
