Our dog is just a bit bigger than what fits comfortably in the max size carrier for flights. If we get a slightly bigger carrier (19” x 11.75” x 11.5” vs 17" x 11" x 9.5"), and book a first class ticket, I know our dog will fit. Is it worth the risk to show up at the gate and hope they let us on the flight? Alaska Airlines, 2 hour flight. Thanks for any advice!
