[discussion] my dog won’t eat his treat

I bought this new treat for my dog it’s a collagen chip and he seems to really like it but weirdly he won’t eat it. He just carries it in his mouth everywhere. When we leave for work and come back, it’s barely touched and he grabs it and follows me everywhere with it in his mouth. I’ve also noticed that he’s become very whiny when he has it. Any ideas on why?
