My 14 week old puppy had been doing well with crate training during the day and night time for 2 weeks. She was sleeping through the night from 8pm-6am. Now she is not wanting to crate nap in the evenings. She would usually take a nap in her crate before dinner time (wake time about 60-75 min) and one post dinner. Now she is not wanting to do either of her evening naps in the crate and trying to make her seems to amp her up even more and make her difficult for bedtime. She will whine/bark for 45 min, which is a large portion of wheat is supposed to be her nap time. By bedtime she’s been up for 4 hours straight with the exception of a 30 min nap outside her crate before dinner. Resulting in a slightly earlier bedtime and therefore an earlier wake time.
I’m thinking now she’s overtired as she’s only getting about 14.5 hours of sleep now. What do I do?
