Crate training phase- puppy is quietly starting at me from the crate as if he is plotting my murder.

The amount of sheer will it takes me not to look back & him & start laughing. I keep looking at him for the side of eyes.

Any tips on how to get to the next phase where he’s okay with me leaving the room? He goes nuts if I leave the room.
