Couple questions for the kind people 🙂

Hello there, I am new to the dog world (and reddit -ish, I apologize if this is the wrong tag). I have never been a huge fan of owning a dog but my husband has wanted one for years and I finally caved in. One of my biggest stipulations was that we do everything in our power to provide the dog with the lifestyle that it needs. We were told the dog was husky/basenji but every single person thats seen her has guessed blue heeler so we arent really sure what breed she is. That being said I do have a few questions..

1. We have been working on some training with her and have tried a couple different toys. I noticed that she LOVES to push things with her nose. For example, we have a long cylindrical pillow that goes on our couch and she constantly tries to get it in the floor so she can push it around. I am not sure what that behavior is called and I am having a terrible time researching what we could get her that would satisfy that itch and save my pillow as she does try to wrestle it a bit.

2. We live in an apartment and do have access to a dog park but we are currently waiting to get round 2 of shots taken care of before we take her to a park with other dogs. Any recommendations for toys or activities that may help get some good ol exercise in?

3. I have read a few times that heelers need enrichment to satisfy the need to work. I dont even know where to start on that lol We have been doing the basics of training (sit, stay, lay down, come here) and have gotten fetch down pretty well. We plan to eventually give each toy a specific name and train her to get that specific toy as well as pick up her toys and place them in the basket before bed. We also got those talking buttons because my husband is determined to give her a voice lol Do these things satisfy that itch?

4. She jumps up on everyone. Every time. I can not for the life of me get her to stop doing this and I do not believe in beating an animal into submission. Any recommendations to break that habit?
